About Us
California League of Schools is a nonprofit organization made up of three educator associations: California League of Middle Schools (serving educators for over 30 years), California League of High Schools (serving educators for over 12 years), and California League of Elementary Schools (a new organization).
CLMS, CLHS and CLES members and conference participants are motivated to improve their professional practice by embracing proven strategies that transcend grade levels such as differentiated instruction, professional learning communities, and content area literacy. Add to this fact the increasing importance of articulation and collaboration among the elementary, middle and high schools that serve each individual student and the need for a K-12 focus becomes very apparent.
CLMS, CLHS and CLES will each continue to be active, grade-level communities supported under the California League of Schools (CLS) umbrella. Look for the new CLS website that will debut this Fall: www.leagueofschools.org
