Discover How to Build Your Own Personal Learning Network!

Technological advances have caught up with what research tells us about the value of self-directed, participatory learning. These are exciting times to be a teacher or administrator who incorporates technology into the classroom or office.

Join K-12 teachers, administrators and technology leaders to discover how you can access and use a wide variety of simple free or low-cost online tools to boost your own professional development; connect yourself and your students with peers, authors and experts; and engage your students in learning experiences that are interest-driven, socially supported, and highly responsive to individual learning styles and skills. At this cutting-edge event, you will:

  • Benefit from sessions that are appropriate for elementary, middle and high school teachers of all content areas, administrators and technology leaders.
  • Gain strategies and resources for using technology to differentiate instruction for English learners, special education students, and students who learn differently.
  • Learn how technology can transform the use of data in formative and summative assessments to drive instruction and program decisions.
  • Become more comfortable with educational technology, whether you want to learn how to use Excel, build a classroom social network, or create and upload your own video to TeacherTube – all ed-tech comfort levels are welcome
